VJ Tech Equipment Supporting New Industry–Academia Collaboration in Offshore Geotechnics Research
VJ Tech Limited is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Geoquip Marine and the University of Bristol, bringing together industry expertise and academic research to advance understanding in offshore geotechnics.
The partnership began in November 2025 and centres on the use of a Dynamic Simple Shear with Confining Pressure (DSS-C) system supplied by VJ Tech. The equipment has been provided on a loan basis and installed at the University of Bristol through their existing collaborative agreement with Geoquip Marine, where it will support ongoing research into soil behaviour under cyclic loading conditions relevant to offshore and nuclear engineering projects.
Installation and Training at Per Aarsleff, Denmark
VJ Tech recently installed four ACONS Pro consolidation systems at Per Aarsleff in Copenhagen, one of Europe’s leading infrastructure contractors with 9,000 employees worldwide.
The ACONS Pro units join four static triaxial systems and a hydraulic dynamic triaxial system capable of handling 300mm samples, all from VJ Tech.
